I badly miss this class! Huhuhu... *emo* Well, for once, let me be! I can't help reminiscing the times I was once a newbie teacher. The first days of school were terrifying. I have no choice but to handle 2-Pignatelli as part of my load assignment. After the first period in the afternoon, I was to face 30 plus unknown students. With my eyeglasses, I looked at each one. Very common faces looked at me terrified. Hahaha... Who can go wrong with my eyeglasses? From there, the unfolding of unforgettable memories started. Surely, a lot took place. You got tired of my battery of tests and quizzes everyday (exhausting your size 4 papers). Right after you're seated, you need to finish a bellwork. You need to come up with a play which turned out as a film *highest level*. You drew pictures and acted out in role plays. You had a hard time answering the exams, long tests and quizzes. There were boring times also to break off our fun-filled days.Who can forgo our laughing moments in class? our bully sessions (firmole..hehehe..)? Who can forget the times I was about to get mad: "What's good with the afternoon?!" when you happen to reply an unexpected answer, "Miss, YOU!". Hahaha... I actually planned to let you stand for the rest of the period because I was totally pissed off. Well, I ended up saying, "Please be seated! *with a restrained smile*" after the comment. Hahaha... Who can forget Mr. Advincula's side comments? Not to mention, "Ms. Barriga Babes" can still be heard at the corridors either called out by my previous students not only from Pignatelli but also from Jogues and Canisius last year or by my students now from 4 sections. That's like 400+ people calling me such address. And, hey, even students I never taught (like those from other setions) call me the same way. Hahaha... Whew! Sometimes, I get intimidated because I'm thinking of what other teachers might say but I stopped worrying when one of you told me, "Miss, lambing lang man namin yan sa iyo!" *Sigh* I wish to turn back time but I think being a floor a part from you make these memories sweeter to cherish and reminisce. Good thing, I still see your smiling faces and spend time with you. I'm actually starting to be sad about your upcoming graduation next school year. Huhuhu... I'm sad not to see you in the campus but blissful to foresee a future ahead of you. I wish to write more but I still have things to do. I just dropped by to assure you that I'm still the same English teacher you've once had and to remind you that generation of school year might pass and hundreds of sections might be assigned to me, 2-Pignatelli will never cease to make a difference in my life.
Can I still add more? Hahaha... there's a lot more to share... MORE that this blog would surely fail to encapsulate. I wish to recall more of our memories 2-Pignatz! So as an assignment, I want you to post our unforgettable English class memories here. Recall a memory in our class you can never forget. OK? Hahaha... I have a lot more to share but I want to hear more of your stories first. Let's keep this blog as we preserve our memories together. By the way, if before I thought I'm left with no choice, after a school year, I realized I was left with the best choice. ^^ Take care peepz! See yah around!
